It's Still Wednesday

Even though the calendar says I am a day late with this post - I ate the exact same meals both yesterday and today.

Oat Bran with brown sugar and candied pumpkin seeds. Half decaf/half regular coffee with Almond milk creamer.
Red Wine Beefless Stew taken for lunch.
Fajitas: onions, bell peppers, refried beans, avocado, baby kale, Better Than Sour Cream.
I'm full, but there are dark chocolate peanut clusters in the fridge, saying "just one to take away the onion flavor in your mouth". Ha ha! We'll see if I break down or just brush my teeth a little early.

See you this weekend!

  1. I hope you had the peanut cluster because yum!!! Definitely a more fun way to get rid of the onion flavor ;) I don't blame you for eating the same meals two days in a row, they look amazing! Hope your Friday goes quickly and that you enjoy your weekend!

    1. I did have two peanut clusters! I try to not have exact meal repeats too often as I get bored and don't enjoy it - but this day was ok.

I could always have a three day weekend, so I am enjoying it!

  2. I always forget i like oat bran...! That looks like a breakfast worth repeating all winter. I love bringing soups or stews for work lunches , i have coworkers who i think are nuts because they buy expensive crummy soups from hale and hearty or whatever nearby deli and they're seriously not nearly as good.
Pb clusters sound amazing! Even if i'm not especially hungry i like a little something sweet after dinner like a little chunk of chocolate or some candied ginger with my nightly hot tea.

    1. Oat bran is a great rotation item when I want something different than standard oatmeal! I've thought about Cream of Wheat, but as I've never tried it, I'd hate to buy a box and then hate it.

We will always win on the homemade soup and stew front! Always better than pre-made.

  3. Answer the call of the peanut clusters! It's the right thing to do! Fajiatas are always a good idea - they're one of those go-to meals that I make when I need something quick and tasty!
