Late to the Party

I can't seem to slow down enough to post on Sundays and Wednesdays, but I will be back on track soon. A handful of photos since my last update:

 The "I didn't really meal prep" lunch from last week - Wild Rice and steamed cruciferous.
 Because there was a chocolate holiday.
Saturday mornings = pancakes post workout.

Celebratory Weekend

It's that time of year - when you become older, and people like to take you out to eat.  Behold: Oatmeal SuperFood Bowl from Blue Sky Cafe.
 Grandma in Kansas embroidered these dish towels for me! So cute!
 Did you hear about this? I tried it out and made my own birthday cupcakes.
 From the family:
 Shen, this one is for you: Mom agreed to go to True Food Kitchen with me for lunch today (I took the day off!) The TLT is everything I hoped it would be and more. Can't wait for the leftovers tomorrow.

I'm out the door to enjoy dinner at Homegrown Tap & Dough - where I'll enjoy one of my favorites: the quinoa salad (almonds, cucumber, avocado, apples, golden raisins, arugula & lemon vinaigrette).  See you soon!

Enjoy This

Jam packed weekend of catching up with friends and then watching the SuperBowl with family.  I slept in, and sped off to cycle/HIIT class. I was meeting a friend shortly thereafter so only time for a shower, and no breakfast. I inhaled this salad from ModMarket whilst chatting away:

I did eat a salad for lunch, so I promise the entire weekend wasn't overly indulgent. Just mostly. Ha!  I hope you had a great weekend!

Meal #1 Chickenless Mandarin Orange Morsels, green onions, broccoli, and jasmine rice.
 Meal #2:  Butternut Squash and Shallot Soup
