Almost the End

Lunch with my brother at Fire on the Mountain. Spicy Peanut Seitan Salad. Spectacular.

Farmer's Market first of the season peaches:
My Zinnias have exploded. Yes, those are my toes.
Still rockin' those tacos:

I plan to end my summer posts with a bang. Expect a lot of photos on both Wednesday and Sunday!

I hope you've had a great weekend! See you soon!

  1. Those zinnias are just beautiful! What colour! And they match your nail polish too, which is fabulous.

    1. Ha ha! Yes, I was feeling very fuschia at my last pedicure - which is also a color that naturally occurs in nature! ;)

  2. What a wonderful pile of salad! I poked around their menu and i love how you can swap in vegan options for so many of the dishes, i wish more restaurants gave that option.
Your zinnias are so impressive , i hope you have a nice bouquet for yourself inside too :)) tacos and peaches are a tasty way to finish up summer

    1. FOTM does a nice job of labeling their sauces, and with both mushroom and seitan swaps available for absolutely everything - it is a win!

I need to cut a bouquet for myself soon! They are still exploding!

  3. Ooooh yay!! That salad looks incredible!! Peanut sauce is always delicious but that looks exceptionally amazing. Hooray for peaches and brightly painted toes! :) The flowers are seriously stunning and I love the colors together. So pretty. The tacos look so yummy.

I can't believe the summer is almost over for you. I hope that you enjoy every last second of it! Looking forward to seeing all of these amazing photos!

Ha ha! Yes, bright toes in the summer!

It has gone so quickly, but it does feel like it is "time". I'll try to keep the moaning to a minimum. ;)

    1. Yes, August starts peach season in Colorado. I could have had some from Texas last month, but I like my seasonal fruit to be local (except in winter...and Rainier Cherries).
