Just a Few

I was remiss in my week, and did not take but a couple of photos. So, let's get started: inspired by Sarah's love for Bento boxes, I finally found some heavy grade plastic ones to use.  I made Smashed Chickpea sandwiches, olives, and an apple as my lunch last week.

I ended up in front of a Caribou Coffee when in my parents neighborhood. I tried their Ginger Chai Latte (delicious!) with soy milk.

Over a month ago, I ran out of Vega.  I thought I could live happily without it every morning. I was wrong. I might have overdone it, but I'm happy. ;)

Last week before our Thanskgiving Break. Woo Hoo! I'm loving November; this month has been such a wonderful change from October!  See you soon...

  1. Glad to hear November is paying out for you - long may it continue. Bento boxes always make any meal feel slightly special I think - all the different compartments make it like a three course meal!

  3. Yay! I'm so glad that you have time to breathe now. I know last month was definitely trying but now you have time to relax and you get a break soon! You must be so excited for some time to rest and hang out with Remy and your family.

Hooray for the bento box! It looks like a perfect meal! I do love my Bento Boxes… I need to use mine more. And look at that Vegan haul!! I'm so jealous of the Mocha, I can't find the individual packets! I'll have to try going to the other Whole Foods near me, maybe they'll have it.

I hope your week goes quickly!

    1. I need to research more than sandwich ideas for the bento box. I have no ideas! Google images, here I come! I feel better when I drink Vega, with those 6 servings of veggies powering my morning. Honestly, mocha is my least favorite. I got through it, but won't be repurchasing...

  4. I cant help but imagine the interest that your lunches generate in the teachers lounge.

Surprised Caribou Coffee still exists. They all became Peet's Coffee in the D.C. area.

You will make up for slacking on the blog over the holidays. Going to the Aunt and Uncle's again? will you have to sit in the kiddie chair?

    1. Caribou is definitely in the minority, and in the 'burbs for the most part. We have a handful of Peet's Coffee, but not one that is convenient to me.

Ha ha! Yes, I've taken more pictures this week, and will return to more posts shortly. ;)
