Long Weekend in Brief

I enjoyed my three day weekend, not opening my work computer once, more or less being unplugged, seeing friends, family, and generally relaxing (only one workout - yoga class).  A few other highlights: Farmer's market

I can't remember my last trip to Starbucks, so Iced Coffee with coconut milk:
 Remy went to the groomers:
Be back tomorrow with the work day eats!

  1. I love seeing Remy!! I love iced coffee with coconut milk. It's so great to see other milk options besides soy and rice!

    1. I agree, I've come to prefer almond milk above all else but coconut will do! Remy is happy to be seen :)

  2. Yay handsome boy!!! He's so freaking cute I can't stand it! I'm going to post some much delayed pictured of the boys tonight I think ;)

Beautiful Farmer's Market Haul!! Those peaches look incredible. I have been craving zucchini pasta, I should get on that. I haven't been to starbucks in forever either, I can't wait to get my free birthday drink later this month. Yay, haha!

I'm glad that you enjoyed your long weekend and were able to spend it work free! I've been enjoying being unplugged lately. I've been debating getting rid of Twitter and Facebook lately because I rarely use either. I love instagram because I like looking at everyone else's pics but I rarely post myself!

Hope you have a good week!

    1. I hear ya on the social media - I see it used too much by friends and students. Instagram does have its appeal, I love pictures- but I don't need more distractions. Ha ha!

The peaches have been so good. I think I'm going to make fritters, but I did consider the zucchini spaghetti option. We've got to enjoy the last of the summer produce - only two more weeks till fall!

I feel like she should have cut back more on his forehead, but as long as Remyis comfortable, I guess that's what matters. ;)

  3. Are those Potatoes?

Those Starbucks drinks go down way to fast. They should sell them by the gallon.

    Love Remy's new do.

    1. Yes, red potatoes in the front of the Farmer's Market haul. I'm going to combine them with the zucchini for fritters!

It's not the cutest cut, but he certainly is cooler!

P.S. Terra was doing okay when I saw her yesterday. She'll eat out of my mothers hand, as long as it's not kibble - which tells me she's still in there. Her head is a little tilted from the stroke, but she has control of her bowels, which is promising. Still touch and go, I'd say.

  4. Thanks for the Terra uodate. We had a devastating situation with Teddy and lost her this afternoon, Poley is still hanging in there. Not putting it on the blog, just too much of a downer.
