Unprepared Tuesday

On Sunday evening, I couldn't be bothered to meal prep.  It's a chaotic week, so that probably wasn't the best decision.  Nonetheless, I had some delicious meals.  I stopped by Whole Foods on my way to work:

Steel cut oats with berry compote, maple syrup, and pecans. Yes.

Lunch also from Whole Foods:

45 minute spin class (my first evening workout since the beginning of June!)

Quick dinner:

I will prep my meals for next week, as the return of students equals even an even busier life.  Will I share it here? Who knows! My last post had low views, and zero comments.  Is it a hint to stop posting? Hmmm.... Time will tell!

  1. No dont stop posting!!! You have a delightful positive blog. We cant all be get thousands of hits a day, but the few we get must be because we have struck a chord with someone out there! (who am I? I dont even recognize myself these days. nonetheless, i love your blog!)

    1. Thanks for the encouragement, Shen! I'm definitely not in the 1,000 hits category - but the previous posts had 12 views after three days, and I wondered if I am talking to myself! Ha ha! I'm glad you've stuck around - it has been four years since we "met" here! Crazy!

    1. Hi VP, thanks so much for the kind words! I guessed one or two people might peep my page, but most referrals to my page have to do with something I've written. I appreciate you reading my little blog over these couple of years!

  3. No, don't stop posting! Bear in mind that every so often Google rejigs how it ranks blogs so you might find traffic taking a hit due to things beyond your control and in a few weeks it might totally reverse. We'd miss you and Remy if you went. Also, I'd never have any more Whole Foods envy...!

    1. Thanks, Joey! I looked over the analytics, and I don't know if it is a summertime swing or if the little non-recipe based blogs are just fading away. I'm happy you've enjoyed the Whole Foods options - I drool over your British bakes!

  4. Nooooooooo don't stop blogging!!!! We would miss you so much! I love reading your blog and seeing Remy's sweet face. I definitely don't get a lot of views (and way less now that I've been posting so infrequently) but I've learned that it's not about trying to get the people that don't read… it's about the people (however few they may be) that do read <3

    1. Hi Sarah, thanks for the love! Yeah, with the dwindling of regular readers lately - it made me think that everyone was moving on from this blogging hobby. If people are here, and I'm not talking to myself - it makes me more likely to stay!
