Waist Deep

There isn't much to this post, other than trying to stay afloat.  In between the SAT prep in the wee hours of Saturday morning, and Prom last night - I took naps. Yes, plural.  Laundry? Nope. Cooked? Definitely not.  I dislike living a life where all I do is work, and then recover from work. Only to work again.  But that's where I am, and will be, until Friday. Thus, a few images:

See you on Tuesday - which is the day before I'm fully submerged!

  1. That last photo looks good! Is that a tomatillo salsa or something?
What did you wear to chaperone prom??
The breakfast burrito (?) looks rad and I LOVE those Califa Farms drinks, just wish they were a little less expensive.

    1. Green chile! I wore work type clothes (black pants, blouse), but I did put on more makeup - which was apparently a hit. I was told "you looked so pretty at prom in so and so's snapchat". Great. Guess I need to wear more make up to school! Ha!

Yes, breakfast burrito and yes to Califa Farms - only on sale!

  2. as someone who never went to (or wanted to go) to my prom, I can see where it might be of interest to attend one from a sociological viewpoint. Do you get paid to chaperone?

    1. No, it required. Especially if you teach upperclassmen, such as myself. Technically, we are asked to chaperone/attend two events per school year.

  3. Oy, you are really earning that upcoming summer vacation! I am with Shen, I did not go to my prom and had no desire to go to mine but I think it would be interesting to be a fly on the wall for one. At least the table looks cute?

I want that Califia Farms coffee!! I feel like I haven't seen a small individual bottle but I'll have to watch out for it. The burrito looks so yummy :)

    So close to the end!

  4. I hope the weekend comes as soon as possible! I think I'd be on industrial quantities of the coffee at this point! Proms don't exist in this part of the world (or at least they didn't when I was at school) -so my only experiences of such things involve John Hughes movies!
