Ode to Spring

Ah, Vernal Equinox.  With your promise of blooming buds and warmer days.

Afternoons in the grass...

Weekend hikes...

Berries a plenty...

Lighter jackets. More sunshine.
And most importantly: Spring Break.

Six work days to go.

    1. I did hear about that system headed your way! Sounds ghastly! It's supposed to cool down a little next week, but right now - it feels like spring!

Tomorrow there is supposed to be snow here too but I can't wait for berries!

    1. Ha ha! You're right - throwback to all the wonderfulness of spring! I had sour strawberries not long ago, so I am super ready for the sweet variety!

  3. Wah, blogger ate my comment again! Basically I said I agree with Shen and FF. I love this photo roundup as a welcome to the spring! I especially love the picture of sweet Remy :) I can't wait for berry season too! Unfortunately we are expecting snow today but hopefully it will be short lived and we'll be on our way to celebrating spring soon too. Although I'm not going to lie, I'm not looking forward to 9 months of seasonal allergies.

How exciting, you are so close to spring break! Do you have any fun plans?

    1. Blogger has been acting up lately for me, too! Yuck! I hope it sorts itself soon. I think on my end, it's Chrome crashing.

I hope you keep warm, and that this storm melts quickly!! Bring on the berries and cherries! And I hear ya on the allergies - not fun!

  4. The produce is already looking up here too! And Remy has reminded me that I owe 89 a super long leash to play in the grandhumans' yard.

  5. Amazing, those pictures gladden your heart for the changing of the seasons. it's almost spring here too - the weather's warming up, there are berries in the market, and asparagus can't be far behind. Long may it continue!
