Keep it Moving

Wow! I miss the weekend, do you? I am powering through, as best I can.  The cleanse is still on-going, and here are my eats from today:
 Grape Nuts, unsweetened almond milk, half of a banana.
 Vega French Vanilla and water.
Cuban Baked Beans with half of a sweet potato (you will see this again - I'm having it for lunch everyday).

Honeycrisp Apple

A steamy Quinoa Vegetable Soup (I've been thinking about this soup a lot, hoping it would show up! I should just learn how to make it.)

  1. I love yr breakfast, though I can only wish I got behind the vega/water mixture. I need lots of THINGS in a smoothie. Protein powder alone just doesn't do it for me.
    Gorgeous lunch and soup, though.

    1. I did my research on flavors, and tested which one went best with water - French Vanilla is was! I think the idea behind the protein shake was satiation, especially when I'd been having bagels for breakfast, and don't have time to make oats. The vanilla chai is also good - try it!

  2. Where did the Quinoa Soup show up at? I am surprised Grape Nuts are on the cleanse, but thanks for the reminder about those things.

    1. The ever reliable Whole Foods. Too many carnivores around here, causing the wells to usually be filled with sadness, rather than life!

      I sent her my food log, and she didn't mention it. "More legumes!" was her comment.

  3. You are doing such a great job with your cleanse!! Your breakfast looks fantastic as does lunch! I can see why you would eat it every day, it looks really great. The soup sounds like a perfect warming fall meal. I can't imagine it is too difficult to make?

    I miss the weekend too but it's almost here again! Hope your week is going well!

    1. Today has been the best day so far - who knew it would take a week to feel great on a cleanse... I bet the soup is not hard to make - I should look it up!
