Soggy Tuesday

Soggy as in the weather - not the food. Although, my peach was a little squishier than I like... Behold a different perspective of the yogurt and peach breakfast as of late:
It rained overnight, and was cloudy all day - until I left school when it was a torrential downpour! Street flooding, lightning, etc! Crazy!  I made the greens, avocado, tomato, tempeh bacon sandwich for lunch.
Post work snack (and it was sprinkling during this photo).
Home yoga practice (crescent, warrior, and balance sequences).
I saw a break in the clouds, and took Remy for a walk.  Or rather, flower sniffing.
Picked up Tofu Salad Rolls for dinner:
I'm loving this cooler weather - hope it hangs around!! See you on Thursday...

  1. Ugh, rain is the worst. Before I moved to Seattle I didn't believe the whole rain every day and depression thing but when I lived there and it actually rained every day it really was a bummer! I was like ah, I get it! At least it cleared up enough to be able to take Remy out for a dry walk... or flower sniffing ;)

The meals look great! How is the plain yogurt? I haven't seen the plain one yet! The sandwich looks great and I totally forgot about the pb on rice cake snack idea! I'm going to have to get some rice cakes! Great pic of the salad rolls, they look so yummy? Those come with peanut sauce?

Have a good Wednesday and Thursday!

    1. It's important to have a mix of sunny and rainy days! Not too much of one or the other!

The plain is definitely plain, which is why it is perfect for adding fruit! Every once in awhile the rice cake craving hits - I don't know why. Ha!

No peanut sauce sadly, it was some kind of sweet sauce that I didn't use. *sigh*

Thank you! This week is moving a little slowly. Ha ha! I guess that's how the work week goes. ;)

  2. I love that Remy stops to sniff the flowers. :) The forecast here keeps calling for rain but we've barely had any lately. I agree with Sarah about rain. I don't mind it a little bit but I much prefer dry, sunny weather.

I've yet to have that kind of yogurt, but then again I don't get yogurt too much. Have you had the Greek kind?

    1. He took time to stop and smell the flowers. ;)

It was sunny all day today, but another system just rolled in - so you might get one of these eventually! But they are short lived, which is the good news!

I haven't tried the Greek kind, there was a yogurt sale where I stocked up on the almond and soy versions but I'm down to my last one (kind of thankful for that! Ha!).

    1. The avocado fared well! There was no peanut sauce. :( It came with a sweet sauce that I didn't use. I really should've made my own with sriracha and peanut butter!

  4. I love the cooler weather too; all the better to snuggle pups with. Have you made the tempeh bacon from Salad Samurai? Ut's so good! I can't believe you live near someplace that makes those beautiful salad rolls!
