Repeat Worthy

Most of today, I would happily do all over again.  Especially with the meal choices, and afternoon yoga!
Simpler Detox Drink: lemon juice, water, ACV

Coconut So-Delicious Yogurt topped with blueberries and Maple Granola.

Kale salad mix with dried cranberries, almond slivers, and homemade poppyseed dressing. Doesn't look fantastic, but it was pretty tasty.

I picked this package up a week ago, and finally got around to trying it: (pardon the tear, I realized I should photograph it before cooking it up)

I do have frozen stir-fry veggies I could have added, but wild rice and steamed kale sounded so good.  The final result was really, really good.
I'm picky about teriyaki sauces, and this surprised me by being so tasty.  Now, if only I could remember which store I went to when I bought this package (they had other flavors!)...

  1. Everybody and their strawberries lately! I like the trend.
Yogurt with a textured topping is one of the more perfect meals, I believe. And the kale salad looks great! It's been a while since I've made one. Next time it'll have to have cranberries.
I did more yoga at home the other day - more hip/heart opening stuff and it helped for a couple hours but I'm beginning to think I really ought to do it more often.
    How did the mat help?

    1. I love berries, especially now that we are well over half way through spring; they are in such good shape flavor wise! I especially love grapes in my granola and yogurt.

YAY! Home yoga is a lot of fun - I wish I knew a wider variety of poses, because I'd love to try them out in the comfort of my living room. The mat was helpful at home, but not during class - still too slippery!

    1. I would repeat all of it but the tiredness and a snarky comment I heard...

  3. Your yogurt, berries and granola looks like an absolutely perfect meal to me. The kale salad looks really great, I love the look of your creamy homemade poppyseed dressing. I bet the kale gets nice and tender after soaking that goodness in. Gorgeous strawberries too! I'm jealous of everyone's beautiful berries lately!

I'm so impressed with your yoga routine! You are doing so great with it!

    1. Strawberries are the best right now! I could be like Shen and eat a container for breakfast easily!!

On Monday, I learned how to "flip my dog"!!! I'm not quite ready for "wild thing", as I need to get stronger in side plank.

  4. I'm picky about teriyaki sauce, too, so I'll have to keep an eye out for it. It certainly looks good! Everything looks great & I often find that the salads that look the worst taste the best. :)

    1. I think you and I are the sauce specialists; we both love peanut sauce, and have particular tastes for teriyaki! :) I have figured out that I purchased it at Safeway, and I might pop back there soon to see the other flavor. And you're right about the salads!

  5. The simple ACV drink makes it more likely i'll have mine daily ...:)
Yogurt and granola is a classic for a good reason-somehow it hits all the right textures together. That salad sounds wonderful to me!!
I always use Soy vay (cheaper at trader joe's) for a teriyaki sesame kind of marinade, yours looks thicker though... Always great to find a new yummy vegan product!
