A Handful of Weekend

Homemade Waffle, accompanied by pb, maple syrup, and black coffee.

Toasted Everything bagel with Tofutti

Berry-tastic.

A visit with Terra on Saturday evening.  She had to have some teeth pulled, but she is now healing, eating well, and has the same energy as prior to her trip to the vet.  It's no fun getting old!

  1. Hi Terra! *head fuzz rub*
What a pretty bowl of berries. I like that we can see the knife ridges in the cc.
Looks like a tasty weekend. Hope the week goes quicker than last.

    1. I'm hoping the same! A quick week! It's all about the texture in pictures, right? ;)

  2. Aw, poor Terra. I agree, it's no fun getting old!

The berries look so good. I haven't been able to find decently priced organic ones here yet. I miss eating them!

    1. I know! All of the poking and prodding that goes into being older. At least she gets to be spoiled for the next week with her "soft food only" prescription.

Oh yeah, berry prices are crazy - thus, I waited for a sale!

  3. Awww sweet Terra, I hope she feels better soon!

Beautiful weekend meals. The berries look amazing. I've been enjoying tons of summer fruit and loving every second of it. The waffle and bagel looks great too. I still don't know why I haven't done the waffle with peanut butter... I bet it would be good with the cinnamon raisin peanut butter I just made. Yay for the mug!! :)

    1. The report I heard from earlier today was that she continues to heal well. I'm so ready for summer (in case I haven't said it before!).

Oooh, the cinnamon raisin pb would be so tasty on this waffle! And you know I love that mug! :)

  5. You have a gift for preparing the breakfast foods -- Pancakes, Waffles, Grits...

Terra is still a puppy inside. You're a good big sister;-)

    1. Happy to know I can do one thing right. ;)

She is a big baby, that's for sure. But the same could be said for Remy. According to my colleague at work (with whom I swap dog stories), Remy has me "well trained". Ha!
