Birthday weekends and long weekends both call for a couple indulgences. The tea sounds really interesting! I mostly drink caffeinated tea but really should probably cut back, haha. The salad looks awesome. Enjoy yr extra day and extra hour of sleep :)
Most tend to coincide, as President's Day is usually very close to my birthday - so I'm guaranteed to over indulge annually! Ha! As long as I'm not indulging for the entire year between birthdays. ;) This tea is so good! Definitely try it!!
I'm with Maud, this was your birthday weekend, you have to indulge a little bit! That brunch looks so amazing. I'm 100% jealous of it. Those potatoes look ridiculous. I'm also jealous of Native Foods and that salad. I wish we had more vegan restaurants on Long Island. I know I'm spoiled being so close to NYC but I have to psych myself up to go into the city ;)I LOVE that tea! It is delicious, definitely my favorite herbal tea I've ever had. The only thing that makes that tea better is Remy photobombing it :DI hope you enjoyed your day off! I definitely could have used an extra hour of sleep today so your thoughtfulness on sleeping in on our behalf is much appreciated.
Isn't it the best tea ever?! It's so good!! I definitely over-indulged this weekend, and now I'm paying for it; I just to keep wanting to eat rich food! Ha ha! Hopefully I'll be back to normal in a couple of days, otherwise I won't fit in my pants. ;) I didn't get a full hour extra, but every little bit counts, right?
Both WaterCourse and Native Foods in one day. Not to mention dessert. You've learned well, Grasshopper.
Ha ha! Yes, I have! Although I'm having withdrawl today as I try to clean up my food. It's hard to not keep wanting restaurant prepared meals!
If you're not indulging on your birthday, something's gone awry. If you're getting cake and flowers and home fries and tofu scramble, you won the day hands down.
