Parcel & Sauce

Ya know, instead of "pasta and sauce"? Ha ha!

The beautiful Sarah sent me a birthday package with eats and treats:

The eats are yummy and the treats are so sweet! The various owl expressions are hilarious! Thank you so much, Sarah!

Not really a sauce, but syrup:

BBQ Sauce with a side of Crispy Meatless Patty and Asparagus

Miso Gravy with a side of steamed kale and potato wedges. And ketchup.

Lavendar Essential Oil was misted on us during Savasana in yoga.  But that's not really sauce.  See you this weekend...

    1. Haha it is a falafel flavored snack from Israel. They are like crispy sticks. Really savory and yummy.

    2. Yes, 100% accurate description - savory and yummy! And yes, Sarah is very sweet to send me a package!!

Asparagus is pretty cheap right now. It's like the supermarkets are begging for Spring to arrive!

  2. Yay, I'm so glad you liked everything!! You are so very welcome, Happy belated birthday! I hope you enjoy everything and use it all in good health :)

Great looking eats! The waffle looks amazing every single time. I'm going to break out the waffle iron this week and make a ton of waffles for the freezer for everyone to enjoy. I'm going to have to try the pb and maple syrup combo, it looks amazing. You always have the prettiest potato wedges too.

The lavender oil during Savasana was always my favorite part of my yoga practice. It's so relaxing and peaceful, thank you for sharing that with us!

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Thank you, again! I'm definitely enjoying all of the beautiful treats! A homemade waffle will always beat a store bought frozen one, so I hope you make some soon! PB and syrup is that classic salty/sweet combo that is so good. Yum!

I love lavender oil as well! The Tuesday Vinyasa Flow teacher always gives a quick neck massage after rubbing her hands with the oil while you are Savansana (it's a small class, and she reapplies the oil and rubs her hands together before moving on to the next student). I'm going to buy vinegar and add some lavender drops to use for cleaning around the house! Between the natural cleansing agents and the smell - I will be so relaxed! :)

  3. Sarah has a gift for giving. If she wont open a vegan bakery, she could always open a gift basket business.
