Tired But Satisfied

Oatmeal Squares cereal with almond milk:
Home for lunch with Remy: I picked up a Sweet Korma Tofu Bowl
Dinner: Steamed broccoli & kale and oddly chopped potato slices (oven baked)
The Happy Herbivore Miso Gravy gets its own sentence. Amaze-balls.

While dinner was in the oven / on the stove, I did a little restorative yoga. That was also amaze-balls.

  1. We love Happy Herbivore's gravies, but never had the miso one. I'll have to check it out! The potatoes look really good.

There's that awesome bowl again. We may have to swing through Denver next time we're out there just to pick that up!

    1. The miso gravy is SO GOOD! I finished off my nooch supply while making it, and fully intend to buy more this weekend and make it again.

I hope you get to try it! Sweet Korma isn't listed on the menu, but they still have it - just ask.

  2. Yikes I can definitely see why you'd be tired! It's nice that you got to spend lunch with Remy though. That sweet face can make any day brighter :)

I've been on a cold cereal kick lately and I think I may have to try some Oatmeal Squares. Sounds good. The lunch bowl looks delicious and I like your potato slices! I've never tried the gravies from Happy Herbivore but I've heard rave reviews.

Bonus points for the double use of the word amazeballs! ;)

    1. It was a loooong week, and I'm still tired! Ha ha! I plan to relax here and there throughout the weekend. Remy has been extra clingy, I know these long days have been hard. :(

The Oatmeal Squares are dangerous - so good! This was my first gravy, and it was awesome.

      Ha ha! Thank you!

  3. So you recommend those Oat Squares? Are those a favorite of yours?

I thought the Sweet Korma Tofu Bowl was going away? I must have misunderstood.

    1. They are definitely in my top five - I also love Crispix.

The don't have it listed on the menu, but I ask for it anyway! Ha ha! ;)

  4. Oh my gosh, we currently have the same oatmeal squares in the house right now! I've been eating them as a snack though rather than a breakfast. That korma bowl looks outstandingly delicious!

  5. That gravy does look pretty fantastic; which cookbook is that one from?

  6. What is restorative yoga? Awesome that you've been so active. I do really want to find a yoga class around here. I try to do it at home, but when I get into poses, I feel like I always get attacked by the baby and the dogs. I gave up.

    1. Restorative yoga is slower, more focused on stretching as opposed to building strength (vinyasa flow). I try to do a few asanas at home, and Remy regularly tries to participate - I totally get it! Ha ha!
