  1. The beet bite sounds fascinating! I love beets and chocolate!

  2. All great stuff. I like that the cashew cream has made its way onto a sandwich now, haha.
Also, roasted cauliflower and a sectioned dessert make great snacks. I'm stuck in a snack rut and it is BO-RING. Have to pick up some cauli soon, if not find a beet brownie.

    1. Ha ha, I've had it in my fridge for a couple weeks and wanted to use it up! The day prior I used garlic hummus on my sandwich, but everything turned out a little soggy. I'm heading towards a meal rut, I'm glad the seasons are changing so I can switch it all up! Yes, find a beet brownie!!

  3. I had massive roasted cauliflower phase not along ago and I was making scads of the stuff. I was worried that I'd have to call cauliflower addicts anonymous. I may be due for a relapse!

  4. I've been having yogurt with berries for breakfast lately. So good! Have you ever tried the Greek style one? It's been my favorite for a while now.

We ended up canceling our trip out there, so enjoy the mountains for me when you get a chance! :) Hopefully the recovery from all the flooding won't take too long. So horrible. :(

    1. I haven't been able to find the Greek style! I will have to check out different locations.

It really is quite sad; latest reports are 82 people unaccounted for and 10 presumed deceased. I know the main focus is rebuilding roads so people can go home and see the damage. It's all very surreal! I hope another time you'll make it down!

  5. I am OBSESSED with roasted cauliflower. So freaking good. I've heard it compared to popcorn in terms of snackability which may be good for me to know bc I may be allergic to corn! No!! Anyway, the sandwich looks delicious. I love huge juicy slices of tomato on my sandwiches but they always slide around and get messy so thin is the way to go. Hooray for the beet brownie! You are making that last! Dinner looks great too! can't go wrong at the WFs hot bar ;)

Hope you have a great weekend!

    1. I can totally see how it relates to popcorn! Are the symptoms pointing towards a corn allergy? How are you feeling these days - less dizzy and a return of appetite, I hope!

I'm all about thin sliced tomatoes, and the beet brownie was a fun treat for the week! It's now all gone, ha ha!

Thank you, I'm behind but today your birthday package goes in the mail! :)

  6. What unusual things on your WF's hot bar. You definitely have a more Tex Mex influence out there. Is that the last third of your Beet Brownie?

    1. This particular WFs location seems to really favor Mexican food; it's not the store I usually go to but I thought I'd check it out. The combo seems easy enough, I really should learn to make my own! It was the last of the beet brownie, and last night I tasted half of the tart (I took a picture, so you'll see it on Sunday!).
