Recent Eats & Set Up

A few meals from Friday and Saturday for your viewing pleasure:

Workouts for this week:

Sunday: Beginner & Intermediate Ride (60 minute spin class)
Monday & Tuesday: Rest; I'll be at a retreat for work - actually starting this afternoon
Wednesday: YogaCycle
Thursday: Treadmill Intervals
Friday: HIIT workout (bodyweight and treadmill)
Saturday: YogaCycle

If I haven't mentioned it yet, the owner of the studio where I am hoping to work/trade is out of town until Friday. Waiting is fun! ;)

See you on Tuesday!

  1. I finally just bought some Corn today (as well as more Everything Bagels).

I think the studio owner is getting the sweet end of that deal, so I'd think it over a little longer (unless you want to hang out at the studio just for fun).

    1. I'm glad that we think alike when it comes to groceries. ;)

While I am naturally impatient, my pocketbook is what propels my interest in this position. *sigh* And still, I wait. Hopefully if my availability didn't work, they will let me know so I can budget accordingly.

    2. You could pad your pocketbook plenty by tutoring. I have a co-worker who's/whose? wife gets tons of money under the table by tutoring out of their home.

  3. A retreat in the mountains? That sounds like a lot of fun! I hope you have a great time.

Those rolls are so pretty & delicious looking. Can't wait until the Native Foods opens by you. I'll have to live vicariously through you until we can visit Colorado (or Chicago) again. :)

    1. Well, it was actually a lot of meetings! We did get a little fun in there, but it was 85% work. ;)

I am SO EXCITED about Native Foods. I can't seem to find a soft open date, or even a date range.

  4. Oh that bagel! Yum!! Those rolls look so fresh and delicious. You are also making me realize how sad life is without corn. I need to get on that immediately :)

I give you credit, I have ZERO patience. I'd be going crazy if I were you! I hope that everything works out for you!

    1. Time to hit the Farmer's Market! We are a month away from the equinox, which only means - time for squash and apples. Get on that corn immediately!! ;)

I've made my peace that it's out of my hands, but it sure would be nice to know if I can or can't do it. Hopefully soon. . .

  5. I've been keeping my fingers crossed for days - tell that lady to hurry up! In the meantime, more rice paper rolls are in order.
