A Warm Up

What snow?
This is from our walk at the park late afternoon / early evening.  Cool and a little muddy.
I also snapped this interesting shot from a parking lot:

Kashi Vanilla and almond milk:
Cuban Black Beans and kale:
A little garlic hummus and pita chips post walk and before dinner.

Dinner: tofu scramble with spinach and a brown rice tortilla.
What's new and exciting in your part of the world?  Any plans for the weekend?

See you soon!

  1. Those black beans look great. I'm getting my bean fix with some tacos tonight. :)

  3. Oh, Ye Olde 'Make My Readers Blog For Me' trick. If you must know, I'm planning to stock up on Chicken Feed & Bird Seed tomorrow. Hopefully, activate a 60-day free membership to a bulk discount warehouse on Sunday.

  4. Well, that snow didn't last long! The shot of the clouds look like there were some dark, angry looking ones hanging around.

Great eats, especially the beans & scramble. :)

We really don't have much planned for the weekend. Going out for brunch tomorrow and hopefully hiking the rest of the weekend. It's supposed to reach 60, but we'll see!

    1. I know! And now it's "hot" outside. Compared to summer, it's not - but compared to this week, yes! The sky was so beautiful that afternoon, I'm glad you appreciated it, too!

Brunch, hiking, and almost time for your vacation! I'm excited to hear all about it!

  5. Yay, so glad the snow is gone! So nice that you and Remy got to go for a nice walk with a very cool sky to look at! You know I love my weather and that includes cloudy skies ;)

Beautiful looking food as always! The black beans look seriously delicious and I love how your tofu scramble always looks a little creamy and always delicious! I haven't had a tofu scramble in far too long.

I ended up working a 14 hour day yesterday and I'm in for another 8 today... starting too soon lol. I do plan on pampering myself on Sunday with a pre-vacation pedicure :)

    1. The lawns (but not trees - no leaves, really) are green, when normally they are brown. So I guess the snow was necessary, although I'd love some rain from now on! I love everyday pictures, such as the sky - glad you enjoyed it. :)

      Time for a tofu scramble!

Wowza, that's a long day! Is event season already here?! Oh my gosh, your trip is SO CLOSE!!! I fully support a pamper day!
