Another Tuesday

Grape Nuts and Almond Milk
Unfried Rice: brown rice, tofu (it's in there - just not really too visible in this picture) peas, carrots, onion, and broccoli seasoned with black pepper, garlic powder, tumeric, and Tamari.

Spinach with shallots, cooked in veggie broth and sprinkled with nooch.  Roasted pumpkin seeds added for a little crunch.  Two small red potatoes, served with ketchup (unpictured).
Hail Merry Chocolate Macaroon.

See you tomorrow with a few repeats and something new for dinner. Is the suspense killing you? ;)

  1. The macaroons are making me crave one! I might have to pick one up this weekend.

Grape Nuts is something I haven't had in a while. I love it in Greek style coconut yogurt. So good!

    1. They are pretty good, but there is another raw treat / energy bite that tastes even better. I'll have to go find out their name - the day I bought these, the other company was handing out samples. After inspection finding them to be vegan, I saw the $12 price tag and went with the $3 Hail Merry. Ha!

  2. Oooh the grape nuts return! Love seeing the unfried rice too! Haven't had that in a long time, I should definitely make that happen :) Great looking dinner with more perfect looking potatoes :) And a chocolate macaroon to cap off the day is never a bad thing!

    1. As soon as I had them, I remembered why I still had them - good, but quite the workout for my molars. Ha ha!

Definitely have a little of your Unfried Rice soon - I had a lot of lunch envy today (ate the same thing).

Wish I had more self control, as your cookies were better! :)

  3. The unfried rice looks pretty darn good! It's one of those things that always turns out amazing whatever you put in it! That chocolate macaroon is also getting a lot of love over here too! what's in it?

    1. You are absolutely right; you can never go wrong with Unfried Rice!

The macaroons are gluten-free and raw, must be kept in the fridge. Check out their site if you have time!

  4. The Spinach really cooks down. I hate that.

I'm gonna have to buy some of those Hail Mary Macaroons to see what you're enjoying so much.

    1. I know! A cup of fresh spinach looks like a quarter cup once it's all over.

I'd still recommend the brand I told Molly about above - let me find out their name, as they are even better than the Hail Merry, which are good - very rich. But these others were even better!

  5. You are recommending $12 macaroons? Maybe it's better for my wallet if you don't find out the name.
