Let's Try This. . .

I've put together a plan of action, and since I've decided not to move for the time being - I'm going to try Google+ followed by Flickr - and if that doesn't work, I'll pay for now.

As a test post, I'm going to put up pictures from Friday's day trip to Colorado Springs (2 hours south of Denver), specifically to The Broadmoor.

Outside the hotel. . .

If it works, and you can see this post (I tried to post the pictures on Friday, and it wouldn't allow me), let me know!  If it does, I'll be back with a proper post tomorrow.  Thank you everyone for all of your guidance!

  1. It works for me! And it looks beautiful. What a gorgeous day. I'm typically a grump but I do like to see Christmas holiday decorations around this time.

    1. Hooray! Glad the system is working for the time being. Yes, the weather has been clear and sunny (although freezing when the wind blows). I do appreciate the holiday decorations, too! :)

    1. The Broadmoor is definitely fancy. I could never afford to stay there, but they are one of the few five star hotels that are very dog-friendly. I probably saw a dozen dogs within our 15 minute walk inside and around the lake.

  3. I can see them, too!

I think I've read about the Broadmoor- I'm pretty sure in an article about places that allow dogs. :) Very fancy looking place!

    1. I am so happy it worked - mostly in part to your suggestion!

Yes, the Broadmoor is very dog friendly. They have a cute dog store on site, too. It is also quite storied and fancy!

    1. I am so relieved - it was such a nightmare trying to get a post with pictures on Friday. It was a great little trip, nice to catch up with my cousin in the car! Thank you - my Blackberry does an okay job with photos. :)

  6. Crap! I didn't even know there was a photo storage limit on blogger! At least you got a workaround going - I can't even see the joins. Was it hard to do? The Broadmoor looks nice!

    1. Right?! It took me a year and a half (and apparently, a lot of pictures) to get there. So far the few extra steps are working well.

  7. Beautiful, but... I'm doing a little flashback on The Shining, although I think the hotel in that was actually not in Colorado.

    1. The Shining was actually filmed / based on The Stanley Hotel, which is in Estes Park (where the fires were over the summer). It is creepy! ;)
