Day Three of Three

Today could also be titled, "if it comes in a bowl" or "someone else's recipe" as both are true.

Chocolate Covered Katie's Pumpkin Baked Oatmeal:
Angela's Creamy Avocado Pasta (with angel hair pasta)
From Healthy.Happy.Life. : Vegan Carrot Ginger Soup with sunflower whole wheat bread for dipping.
There will be more vegetables other than carrots tomorrow.  And less bowls.

It was a lovely three day weekend, sad to see it end!

  1. Sometimes it's just one of those days where everything should be in bowls. Pumpkin baked oatmeal sounds like a perfect fall breakfast. I bet the house smelled amazing!!

I seriously need to try Angela's avocado pasta (with the gf angel hair I bought today!). It always looks so good when you post it. They didn't have any good avocados at the store today, boo! Your soups always look so good! I feel like soup isn't that much effort to make but I never do because I make the excuse that I'm lazy... but I feel like that is the dumbest excuse ever.

So glad you had a great weekend! Hope the rest of the week goes quickly for you!

    1. Yes, you absolutely need to try the avocado pasta! With your affinity for avocados, you would definitely love it. I hope you are able to pick one up soon!

Soup is great to have around, especially in these colder months. I have been meaning to make a carrot ginger one for a long time! It's really good!

I hope the week goes quickly, too! Thank you!

  2. that's the thing about weekends - why do they always have to end?!

At least you got some good eating in in the meantime - I love the idea of baked oatmeal. Just what you need to kick winter mornings into touch!

  4. Delicious looking food. I can't decide which meal looks the yummiest. I like eating out of bowls more than plates sometimes. It's nice to have the food all contained... or something.... but today is a new day, and fewer bowls = more plates? ;-)

I'm glad you had a nice weekend!
