All Hallow's Eve

As you can see in this morning outdoor shot, all of the snow has melted and it's 72 degrees.  It's Halloween, right?  Not spring?
I took a Honeycrisp apple, and half of a Whole Foods Spicy Buffalo Chik'n wrap to work.
Half portion seems to be about right.  Eating both halves in one setting is too much.

Dinner was a bowl of Tomato Coconut Curry soup. The recipe says to add whatever veggies you like, so I added carrots and celery.
There wasn't a Daiya grilled cheese tonight to accompany my soup, as I had too many Sweet Tarts in the afternoon. Felt a little sick afterwards.

Stay warm, safe, and don't eat too much candy! :)

  1. 72 degrees? I'm jealous! It's staying in the 40's and below here lately with a nasty wind off Lake Michigan.

Have the honeycrisp been huge there, too? They're so good, but extremely filling!

    1. We've dipped into the high 60s, and will stay here until next weekend - we definitely have the luck as of right now. Cold weather combined with water always makes the chill happen! Stay warm!

I've noticed that the Honeycrisps have been enormous - I wonder what happened this year to cause them to grow so much.

  2. Happy Halloween Ingrid! In Sweden it's almost winter now. So cold! So lots of warm soups for dinner right now :) Haven't done a tomato soup in a while though! Hmm..

    1. Thank you, Malin! I bet it's much colder in Sweden, considering how far north you are, in comparison to the states! Perfect for cozy meals and evenings indoors. :)

  3. That apple looks perfect! I could sure go for some of that soup too. It's really getting chilly here. I've also been eating the same exact thing for about 4 days straight and anything else would be a welcome change of pace!

    1. I've just had the soup for four days straight, and am ready for a break - want to switch? Ha! Would you believe I didn't have it with grilled cheese any of those times?! What's my problem??!!

Hope you doing as well as can be, as your city puts itself back together. Hug!

  4. Colorado is the place to be. It's permanently in the mid 50's here now and not a single Buffalo Chickn Wrap in sight.

Sorry you ate too many Sweet Tarts. I hate when I make myself sick with food.

    1. I sure wish your WF would catch wind of what we have here - then we could talk shared cuisine!

I never it Sweet Tarts; I'm not sure what possessed me! I agree - it's not a good place to be.

  5. There's such a thing as too much candy? Wait, what?!

    1. Ha ha! I suppose it depends on which candy you are enjoying. :)
