When I think of vegan health and fitness, this is not what I'm picturing.  I actually laughed aloud (almost a snort or chortle, really) when I saw it.

  2. I love your preparation of the spaghetti. It looks delish!

Ha ha re: Vegan Health & Fitness. You too can be a hot vegan! Sort of on the same idea of the "buns of steel" yoga videos. ;-)

    1. Spaghetti squash is really tasty, I'm glad I finally got around to eating some!

Perhaps I'm closer to loving the runner / mountain biker fit vegan lifestyle more than the gym-tan-laundry look of the cover. ;)

  3. That squash dish looks fantastic!

We subscribe to that magazine & only received one issue so far. The cover is a bit funny, but it's got some good content inside. :)

    1. Super yummy! I hope I can replicate the cashew cream creation again. . .

I'm sure it's got a lot of great ideas - maybe I'll actually flip through it next time. :)

  4. Never seen or heard of that magazine. Excellent job taking a pic of it in the moment. So many of those moments I've let pass me by.

Unfortunately, 'Vegetable Quinoa Soup' is apparently local to the Denver area. Wish some new soups would make their way east.

    1. I meant to take a picture of the vegetable quinoa soup at WF, but it was so popular people were waiting after I served it up. Thus, when I saw the magazine (not seen before either) I made sure to snap a photo!

  5. Very funny looking magazine. I have to say, Robert Cheeke kind of freaks me out. Any "health to the max" people kind of do.
The squash lives up to my expectations.

    1. I'm happy the squash was as good looking as you hoped! Now I'll have to research who this Cheeke guy is, as I have no idea - although I guess I know what he looks like? ;)

  7. Hahaha that is hilarious with the vegan bodybuilders! Robert Cheeke tweeted at me once about my training and I was so intimidated by his hardcoreness haha!

That spaghetti squash dish looks absolutely delicious. Creamy and fresh, yum! The soup sounds great too. I've never tried Whole Foods' soup but that sounds like it would be delicious.

    1. How cool that he tweeted you! You are quite the athlete, so it makes sense! :)

Spaghetti squash is so mild, and so good - I'm glad I tried it. Some of their soups are worth while, and this would be one!
