Simple Saturday

A little later, the peach was followed by an unpictured piece of whole wheat toast with pb.

Lunch time:  I like these better than the salad rolls with tofu.

Using up one of my Chipotle coupons, so you can guarantee there will be chips and guacamole tomorrow for snacking.

Back to physical activity and actually cooking in my kitchen tomorrow! ;)

  1. Very simple food, but pretty. Those rolls do look good, but I'm pretty much down for anything with avocado. I hope you're having more comfortable weather out there in Colorado than we are here in Connecticut. I'm really sick of the humidity.

    1. I agree - avocado always makes meals better! We don't have humidity here very often, just dry, searing heat. The kind where you can't touch your steering wheel, and avoid the seat belt metal very carefully! I'd say we're both ready for fall, right? :)

  3. Those farmer's market peaches look so perfect, I'm so jealous of them! Those spring rolls look so amazing. You know I think everything is better with avocado ;) Yum, the Chipotle bowl looks amazing! The only reason I've been making my own lately is because I just can't do cilantro and they put it in everything! Enjoy the chips and guac, yum!

Have a great workout tomorrow and looking forward to seeing your meals!

    1. I am feeling pressure to buy a few more peaches- as I know their delicious is short lived!

Totally with you on the cilantro, I'm not much of a fan either! It's the only reason I don't get their tomato pico de gallo - it's overwhelming.

Thanks, Sarah! I hope the wedding weekend has been going well!

    2. It's the weirdest thing, cilantro actually tastes like soap to me. It's so gross, I remember one time I took a bit of something and I didn't know it had cilantro in it and it was the first thing I tasted and it was so gross! Lol!

    1. This batch of peaches I picked up last Sunday have been phenomenal. I worried others might never live up to their greatness!

  6. I sent this link about cilantro to Vava directly, but I realized I should post it here: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/14/dining/14curious.html

I just love cilantro myself, but apparently some others, not so much.
