Day 15

Fourteen more school days to go.  Might seem like very little, but it feels like an eternity! Ok, enough whining.

Breakfast: Multi-Grain Squares and rice milk, Earl Grey
Lunch: it looks gross, tasted fine, but actually left me feeling nauseous.  Something about this taco-less taco salad was not working.  I'll not be having it again.  I Heart Baby Kale mix, avocado, salsa, vegetarian refried beans, nooch.
Dinner: once my appetite returned, I knew there was only one option for this rainy, chilly evening: Pho.
Remy's haircut also means he wants to cuddle more (read: I'm being used for body heat).  He would like for me to remove the laptop, that he might occupy its space.  He's in charge, so I bid you a good evening. . .

  1. I know what you mean about two weeks feeling like an eternity! I hope that the two weeks go quickly for you! I'm so excited for you summer break, I'm going to have to live vicariously through you!

I used to love that cereal! I love the shape and texture of it, I'm a texture freak :)

Bummer about lunch! I hate walking away from a meal feeling that way, especially a mid day meal. It just makes you feel yucky for the rest of the day. I'm glad the feeling passed though.

That pho looks amazing! I really need to try and find some vegan pho. Yum! I love the sriracha swirls in yours :) Spicy and pretty!

Aww I'm sure you are happy to oblige Remy!

    Have a good day tomorrow!

    1. If it were only two weeks! 13 more school days as of right now - we're finished on the 25th. I'm so excited, too! More time means I'll be able to share more here, as well.

Good cereal, bad lunch - luckily it did pass, and the pho made it all better! It's so good! Just looking at the picture makes me happy - ha! We definitely need to get some.

Remy is king of this 700sq foot castle, that's for sure. :)

    1. Ha ha! I just need a break from smoothies. They've been my breakfast on most days for nearly eight months!

  3. The refried beans on your lunch do look kind of unappetizing, but it sounds like a great combination. I'm glad the pho worked out for you. I like that Asian soup spoon you're using. Give Remy some pets for me.

    1. It does look a little gross, right? I really need to write a post, and make it go away! Ha!

      Pho always works, it's amazing.

Extra snuggles have been awarded on your behalf. :)

  4. You are Remy's bitch! Ha!

Anyway, the Taco-less Salad sounds great in theory. Wonder where it went wrong?

    1. Ha ha! He's too cute, I tell you!

It was good in theory, it might have been my system that did the dislike?
