Another Day

The glow of spring break is gone, and nature assisted by performing a steady snow-rain mix all day:
I really don't mind the coolness, and it'll all be melted by tomorrow.

On to the eats:
Spinach, frozen banana, frozen pineapple, water (the messiness of below mason jar is due to good shake)
Two part lunch because I was pinched for time this morning (as I needed to clean snow off my car!): kale avocado salad
 And Larabar:
Afternoon snack: 1/3 cup
Dinner: trying out a new tomato sauce, along with Boca crumbles and whole wheat pasta.
Long day tomorrow, see you Thursday!

  1. Really with the snow? The weather has been so nutty lately! Luckily we haven't seen snow pretty much at all but that is nuts that it can be 80 one day and snowing 2 days later!

That smoothie looks great, awesome that you used pineapple :) The kale salad looks good and gotta love larabars and pistachios! I haven't had pistachios in forever. How did you like the sauce?

I hope your long day goes quick tomorrow! I'm right there with you!

    1. The snow is now all but a memory! We're back to a string of 60's and mostly 70 degree days - perfect temps for spring, in my opinion!

It was a fantastic smoothie! Pistachios have been on sale, thus I indulged a little (while reminding myself they are also the lowest calorie nut!). The sauce was good, not earth shattering, but definitely not bad.

I totally forgot to include this in the post - I did two Tone it Up videos, and they were fantastic!

    2. Oh that's awesome!!! Which two videos did you do? I'm only working lower body and core for the rest of the week (also cardio) because I'm trying to get through this flare up!

    3. I did the Bikini Blast Circuit, using 5 lb weights and the Bikini Strap workout - however, I will not be wearing a bathing suit anytime soon! Ha!

  2. Vava is right; that's the kind of weather that happens in the northeast sometimes. But it's no big thing in the spring because it melts so fast - as it did for you.

I love pistachios, but I'm kind of lazy about having to shell them so I don't buy them often. I guess I can buy them shelled so I should check them out - yum.

    1. Pistachios are fantastic! They require more effort and clean up than other nuts, but they are so good!!

  3. I love Pistachios too. We always mix Boca Crumbles in our Spaghetti Sauce. So great.

    1. It's a great way to use up those crumbles, although I don't have the Mister's secret sauce recipe to make the spaghetti divine!
