Breakfast: chocolate rice protein powder, peanut butter, frozen banana, flaxseed, rice milk.
Long morning of state test proctoring. Grande Americano with an inch of steamed soy milk.
Lunch: Banana-Date shake (made with almond milk) and added spinach. Really good! And an orange.
Afternoon snack: decent amount of water crackers to assist me in finishing this -
No physical workout, just the mental / emotional one provided in therapy. A great session, aiding in my "re-set" agenda.
Dinner: Tomato Coconut Curry Soup (tomato basil soup, fire roasted tomatoes, lite coconut milk, carrots, onions, curry powder, pepper)
Words cannot do this soup justice. Yes. That good.
Served with dry roasted cauliflower (as previously mentioned, I had two heads to get through). It doesn't really go together on purpose, but it was nice to have a little crunch.
Re-set complete, and ready for Friday!

I like this idea of a re-set day. I think maybe a liquid day should be on my horizon as well.
ReplyDeleteBoth smoothies look and sound sooo good! I have to admit, i've been good and haven't gone back to my coffee drinking but I'm a bit jealous of yours :)
That soup sounds and looks so amazing and I'm a big fan of roasted cauliflower so that looks like a perfect meal! Awesome food day. And I'm glad that you had a good emotional cleansing as well. That is so important.
I think I might need another re-set day, probably tomorrow! Today is proving busy and will be eating out twice.
DeleteCoffee is great! Although, I am trying to incorporate more tea for less caffeine and acidity. The worst part is (and it's not that bad), I received four Starbucks cards for my birthday - what does that say about me?!?!
The soup is so good, I'm glad there's plenty more to be had!
It's good to cleanse on all levels - which means my house needs to be scrubbed / purged next! Ha!
Collective consciousness indeed! maybe it's the warm weather but I drank a lot of liquids today too and felt like I should do a juice feast day or two. Every liquid looks fabulous, especially that soup! I have some coconut milk set aside for a different soup but I may have to pick up some more.
ReplyDeleteI can totally tell spring is coming, as I am drinking a lot more water. A juice feast does a body good! I'm due for one again soon. Definitely try the soup - it is so good!
DeleteEveryone is drinking smoothies! Guess I need to get back to those.
ReplyDeleteThat soup looks so great.
Looking forward to your pics from breakfast this morning.
I'm not sure why I do it, other than to up my green intake. Smoothies appear twice or three times a week in this house!
DeleteThe soup is fantastic. When you're finished with the vegetable one, give this one a try!
It's great taking a pause from heavy foods from time to time. The smoothies looks delicious!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Malin! Absolutely, it's great to give our bodies a break!
