Black tea (giving my esophagus a break from the acidity of coffee) and Blueberry Muffin Smoothie (inspired by Sarah a few months ago):
Neutral colored lunch: rice cake and pb sandwich, Cool Slaw
Garlic hummus and crackers in the afternoon.Dinner: tostada, the assembly line pictured below.
Today is also this guy's 4th birthday. Please excuse me while I go play fetch with a mini tennis ball in my living room.

Aaah happy birthday Remy!! He is such a handsome boy, posing all cutelike for his birthday picture!
ReplyDeleteFor the record, I'm not lying at all when I say this but you need to get out of my head! I literally told myself today that I need to make the blueberry smoothie again soon AND I have been craving rice cakes with almond butter. Your food day is everything I've been wanting to eat lately. So thanks for letting me live vicariously through you! The tostada assembly line is fun too, great shot!
Remy says, "thank you!".
DeleteHa, ha - great vegan minds do think alike! Can't wait to have you all better, that you might partake in our shared vision of food!
Happy Birthday Rem-dog! (Haha, Red Sox inside joke with...myself) I should probably try that blueberry smoothie soon. It looks really refreshing.
ReplyDeleteRemy approves of the nickname and inside joke. Highly recommend the smoothie, although the adjective I prefer is "comforting".
DeleteHappy birthday to your sweet little dog! {Wicked witch of the west voice}: and your little dog too! The food looks yummy, but next to the picture of Remy, my favorite picture is the one of the tea - so simple and pretty.
ReplyDelete(FoodFeud - I got your Rem-dog reference, having lived up in Mass for 6 months of 2011.)
Hi Rachel! Thank you! Remy says, "who you callin' little?". He has no idea that he is smaller than any other dog; he likes to participate in all activities at the dog park.
DeleteI'm having tea again this morning! It is a nice switch for the breakfast routine.
Happy birthday to the pooch! Okay, this time I do not see tomato, but there definitely was a red splooch last time. Now, let's see what Shenandoah has to say to that!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Blessed Mama! When pouring the green chile, it does have green and red chunks - based on the short ingredient list, I'd call them chiles. I can't wait for tomato season!
DeleteRemy is still a puppy inside and out.
ReplyDeleteTo Blessed Mama I say, "Out! Out! Damn splooch!"
He is! I hope he lives for 20 more years!
